Spotify for mobile devices

Update: Spotify is now available for Symbian which means alot of Nokia, Sony Ericsson mobile phones from other makes can now run Spotify. To download it go to “m.spotify.com” on your mobile phone to download and see if your model is supported. More info at Spotify.

Spotify has confirmed that they are working on a Symbian version of Spotify. Symbian is a mobile operating system used on most Nokia phones, Sony Ericssons top models and some other phones will be supported.

A release has not been set nor has any videos been released demonstrating it in action. But at the same time as Spotify for iPhone and Android were released Spotify also announced that the release of a Symbian client wasn’t far away and that they are working hard on pushing Spotify out to more mobile platforms.

    I can bet that Windows Mobile will not cooperate, but it would be great with a Windows Mobile Spotify. In my dreams..

    Bandwith should be loower that 15K/s , lots of mobile data plans works for free below that bandwith .
