A third party Spotify client for iPhone called Spot has been released a few days ago. It´s the first public Spotify client for the iPhone but it is not the official client that Spotify themselves are developing. This Spotify iPhone client gives you the possibility to search using artist, album or track name and read biographys and ofcourse it gives you access to Spotifys huge free musi database whereever you are. Spot is currently in Alpha stages of development so there will still be som bugs. But from our first look it seems to be working great.

To be able to run Spot you will need:
1. A jailbreaked iPhone. How to jailbreak your iPhone can be found here.
2. A Spotify premium account.

Here is how you install Spot on your iPhone:
1. Open Cydia in your iPhone. For you who are new to jailbreaking it is a install manager which you get on your iPhone when you jailbreak it.
2. Press “Install” (on the bottom).
3. Browse to the category Multimedia.
4. Browse until you find “Spot” in the list. Press it.
5. Press install on the top right.
6. Press “Confirm”.
7. Now the download and installation will begin.
8. Press Spot on your iPhone menu.
9. Enjoy the first mobile version of Spotify.
