On the 28th of August Spotify confirmed that the official Spotify iPhone App has been approved by Apple for entrance into Apple App-Store. That means that the first official mobile version of Spotify will be avalible for all iPhone owners very soon. Read more in the news post about the confirmation. And on the 7th of September it was official launched and is avalible to anybody with a premium account.

A third party Spotify iPhone client has also been released under the name Spot. It is available to anybody with a Spotify premium account and a jailbreaked iPhone. More information and an install tutorial can be found here.

That Spotify is developing an official mobile application for iPhone has been known and confirmed for a few monts now. Their isn´t much confirmed information about the iPhone application but their is a short demonstration video that shows the interface. It is also known that thier will be an offline mode so that you can listen to your favourite music even without a stable connection. All mobile applications including the iPhone one will only be avalible for premium customers.
